More Fireplaces

It's been established that I'm a sucker for a fireplace.  Now that we've covered outdoor, here are a few of my favorite indoor options.

Topping my list is this amazing bedroom and fireplace with a view, via Lonny:

A whimsical Fireplace by Jonathan Adler at the Parker Palm Springs

Exposed fireplace at the Rec Center Studio Echo Park, shot by Heidi Ryder

Enormous stone fireplace in the kitchen of Libbey Estate in Ojai, restored by Kathryn Ireland:

The fireplace in the living room of the same house is just as dramatic - love!

I love the look of what I assume is tile on this fireplace.  So fresh!

I can't recall the source of this photo, but this little white stove is adorable!

Wood beamed ceilings and oversized stone fireplace?  I'm in love!  The incomparable Madonna Inn:

Hollywood Hills home featuring a lovely curved brick fireplace:
I love a wall of stone!

This deluxe bathroom/ gym even has a fireplace!  Soaking in a tub bubbles by a cracking fire?  Now there's an idea!  From the Santa Clarita home of actress Linda Gray:

I have no idea what this is but it's kind of awesome!

Walk in fireplace anyone?  Via Nothing Is Sacred this unbelievably big fireplace (photoshop?) is apparently from the California home of Missy Chandler, wife of LA Times Publisher Otis Chandler.

Loving this mid-century fireplace and "party pit" courtesy in a ranch home via MoModerne. The color scheme isn't working for me but the bones are great!  The bad news is it was scheduled to be demolished shortly after this photo was taken:

A kitchen with it's own fireplace is my ultimate dream!  This rustic kitchen with (controversial) exposed lath in a brownstone in Brooklyn via Apartment Therapy is rather fabulous:

Another kitchen with fireplace in a charming Byrd Farmhouse in BHPO:

You don't even need the fireplace to be working to enjoy it!  Bedroom by Jan Elini:

From the home of Jenny Lyons, creative director of J Crew (and soon to be president and executive creative director), as featured in Domino Magazine:

Stacked books in a non-working fireplace?  Genius!
